First-time skiers, established skiers, or snowboarders looking to learn or fine-tune their skills can do so with a lesson from a member of the Elk Mountain Ski School.
Our school is a member of the Professional Ski Instructors of America (PSIA) and utilizes the American Teaching System.
With a staff of over seventy-five trained instructors, Elk has a program and the staff to meet your individual needs.
Elk Mountain takes great pride in its ski school programs and lessons. Class sizes are limited to ensure a quality experience.

Registration is required one hour prior to start time. Proof of age may be required at time of registration. First Come/First Served for all lessons.
Group Lessons

Snow Camp and Mountain Rangers Program Details
- 9:00 a.m. check-in at the Children’s Program area in the main lodge
- 9:30 a.m. ready to ski
- 12:30 p.m. parent pickup at the Children’s Program area in the main lodge
- Participants are assigned to groups based on their demonstrated skills.
- All levels are welcome – beginner, green trail skiers and those who are comfortable skiing all trails.
- A late fee will be charged if parents arrive after 12:30 p.m.
- Availability is on a first come first served basis. Signups after reaching capacity is not possible.
- Prices do not include lift tickets.
